Torres has once again achieved outstanding recognition in the alcohol-free wine category at Mundus Vini Non-Alcoholic 2026, being named ‘Best Producer Spain’ and securing three gold medals, as well as the ‘Best of Show Spain Rosé’ award for Natureo Rosé 2025. These results highlight the overall quality of the Penedès-based winery in the alcohol-free segment, in which it was a pioneer in Spain back in 2008 with the launch of its first dealcoholized wine. Since then, the winery has progressively expanded its 0.0 range to include alcohol-free white, rosé, red and sparkling wines under some of its most renowned brands, such as Natureo, Sangre de Toro and Viña Sol.
The wines awarded gold medals at Mundus Vini Non-Alcoholic 2026 are Natureo Rosé 2025, Natureo Tinto 2025 and Viña Sol 0.0 2025. The jury praised Natureo Rosé 2025 for its intense red-fruit profile and its lively, well-balanced palate. Natureo Red 0.0 was commended for its expressive fruity and spicy character and for delivering a pleasant creaminess on the palate that rounds off a very well-integrated whole. Viña Sol 0.0 2025 was highlighted for its pronounced citrus and exotic fruit character and its harmonious, persistent finish, making it an especially fresh, appealing and highly versatile alcohol-free white wine.
These achievements are further complemented by five silver medals awarded to other alcohol-free wines from the winery: Natureo Muscat 2025, Natureo Sparkling, Natureo Sparkling Rosé, Sangre de Toro 0.0 Red 2025 and Sangre de Toro 0.0 White 2025. Collectively, these awards underscore the strength of Torres’s entire 0.0 portfolio and reinforce its position as one of the leading international references in alcohol-free wines.
According to the organisers of Mundus Vini Non-Alcoholic 2026, part of the Meininger publishing group, this year’s competition once again attracted a large number of entries of dealcoholized wines and beverages from a wide range of producing countries, assessed through rigorous blind tastings by an international panel of experts. The distribution of medals among the participating countries reflects the growing competitiveness and maturity of the alcohol-free category worldwide, a context in which Torres’s results are particularly significant.
