Entries Open for the 4th Edition of the PFV Prize

11 March 2026

On 10 February, beneath the iconic glass roof of the Grand Palais, Primum Familiae Vini (PFV) announced the launch of the call for entries for the 4th edition of the PFV Prize – an international award of €100,000 that honours outstanding family businesses for their resilience, long-term vision and artisanal excellence. The announcement was made during an evening dedicated to continuity and craftsmanship, attended by the 12 historic wine families that form the association, including Familia Torres.

Established in 2020, the PFV Prize seeks to shine a spotlight on family-run enterprises from any sector that embody the values of continuity, transmission of savoir-faire, sustainability and intergenerational commitment. The first three laureates are: Maison Bernard, the oldest violin-making workshop in Europe; Brun de Vian-Tiran, a French manufacturer of fine textiles; and Tsutsumi Asakichi Urushi, a Japanese company specialising in lacquer refinement.

A call open to family businesses across all sectors

Following the announcement in Paris, PFV is inviting family businesses from around the world to apply for the 4th edition of the PFV Prize. Candidates are expected to demonstrate resilience, a long-term outlook and artisanal excellence, fully aligned with the values shared by the PFV families, including Familia Torres.

During the event, PFV also unveiled the PFV Generations Cases 2026, an exclusive annual collection of 12 cases that brings together fine wines from the PFV families with the craftsmanship of PFV Prize laureates, creating a virtuous circle that helps to finance and support future winners.

Family businesses interested in applying, as well as collectors wishing to obtain more information about the PFV Generations Cases 2026, can find further details on the official website: www.pfv.org
