Familia Torres is stepping up its wine tourism experiences during Holy Week to offer visitors the chance to enjoy wine, beautiful scenery, and good food in an idyllic setting. Located on the iconic Mas La Plana estate, in the heart of Penedès, the winery is open to the public to tell its story, describe its commitment to regenerative viticulture and sustainability, and reveal the meticulous wine production process.

Winery tours are complemented with wine tastings led by experts or suggested pairings to explore this art and sample local produce and traditional recipes. Both the wine and cheese pairing and wine and tapas pairing experience look for the perfect balance with congruent or complementary matches in a play between flavours, aromas, and textures.

Familia Torres also offers exclusive Signature Wine Experiences that seek to capture the natural and cultural essence of our environment and share it through a series of new experiences that go beyond the traditional definition of wine tourism, expressing the imprint of experience, our care for the environment, and the historical heritage that surrounds us. These unique activities aim to understand and appreciate the land through the wines, with experiences that include the option of doing a tasting directly from the barrel with a sommelier or a tasting of five of our most exclusive wines from the Miguel Torres Anthology collection: Milmanda, Mas La Plana, Reserva Real, Grans Muralles, and Mas de la Rosa.

And to round off the experience, there is also the El Celleret Garden Restaurant, a select restaurant located right by the vineyard that was named the best winery restaurant at the 2021 Premis Vinari awards. A place where you can enjoy Mediterranean cuisine paired perfectly with our wines and prepared using local, seasonal produce from the restaurant’s own organic garden.

In the kitchen, Chef Sergi Millet masterfully creates a varied menu with options that make the ideal accompaniments to our wines. Here, our guests have the chance to taste the wide range of wines—many available by the glass—that Familia Torres makes in Penedès and other wine regions of Catalonia and Spain, as well as in Chile and California.

During Holy Week, with the arrival of good weather, the restaurant will resume its outdoor live music sessions and expand to the outside, occupying the terrace and garden so that our guests can take in the natural setting and amazing views of Montserrat mountain as they enjoy the music. We are pleased to offer these sessions every weekend, starting from 16 April and until October, during lunches and dinners at El Celleret.
