The Green Road Cabernet Sauvignon
The Green Road is a project of Miguel Torres Chile aimed at reducing our carbon footprint, specifically addressing CO₂ emissions associated with logistics through bottling our wines at destination. This initiative is part of a comprehensive sustainability vision, in which we continuously rethink our processes and make responsible decisions across the entire value chain.
Through The Green Road, we reaffirm our longstanding commitment to conscious innovation and ongoing adaptation to an ever-changing environment and market demands. It reflects our ability to evolve responsibly, aligning efficiency, quality, and sustainability, and moving forward with conviction toward a future-ready viticulture.
Valle Central. Chile
Located in the heart of Chile, the Central Valley is the country’s largest and most emblematic wine region. It stretches from Santiago to the south of the Maule region, covering a wide strip of fertile land between the Andes and the Coastal Range. The Mediterranean climate, with warm, dry summers and mild winters, together with the influence of rivers and the diversity of soils, creates ideal conditions for grape growing.
The uniqueness of the Central Valley is reflected in the great variety of styles and grape varieties produced, especially Cabernet Sauvignon, Carmenère, and Merlot, as well as fresh and aromatic white wines. The combination of tradition, innovation, and a strong export orientation has positioned the Central Valley as the driving force of the Chilean wine industry and an international benchmark for quality wine production.
