Cordillera Carmenère

The Cordillera line focuses on showcasing the finest expression of a grape variety in a specific valley. For this Cordillera Carménère, we selected the Peumo Valley, renowned in Chile for the quality of its Carménère. Our goal is to highlight the best facets of Carménère, preserving its typicity, characterized by spicy and fruity aromas. High concentration and careful oak aging allow us to obtain a complex, structured wine with deep color and excellent aging potential.

Origin

Our Cordillera wine currently comes from the La Ladera vineyard, located in the town of La Cabras, in the Peumo Valley, within the Cachapoal Valley. It is a hillside at the foot of the mountain with a southeast exposure, just 3.5 km from the Cachapoal River.

Valle Cachapoal

With its privileged location in the heart of Chile’s central valley, the Cachapoal Valley DO stretches between mountains and rivers, in a landscape where nature and the vine coexist in perfect harmony. The Mediterranean climate, with sunny days and cool nights, together with alluvial and clay soils, make this territory ideal for producing red wines of great character and elegance, especially Carménère and Cabernet Sauvignon. From its uniqueness are born wines full of nuances, reflecting the richness and tradition of this emblematic Chilean valley.
