The idea behind Vinyarets is to bring together the varietal essence and organoleptic profiles of the wines of Penedès and introduce them to the world in all their authenticity. Each wine is a snapshot of the place we call home, capturing the culture, history, and living legacy of our ancestors and their winegrowing practices.
Following the release of Vinyarets red, we now introduce its white counterpart – 100% Xarel·lo. An intimate and true expression of one of the flagship varieties of Penedès.
VINYARETS XAREL·LO 2019
The winemaking process focused on bringing out subtle varietal aromas through temperature-controlled fermentation. The result is a fresh, fragrant, organic wine; pleasant but expressive, with excellent acidity.

Bright, brilliant, pale yellow. Fresh, fragrant aroma reminiscent of citrus with exquisitely delicate floral (broom) notes coming through. Crisp, with an expressive palate and a delicious honeyed apple finish.
As for food pairings, Vinyarets white is an unwavering companion of hors d'oeuvre and rice dishes. It also pairs wonderfully with fish – especially turbot or swordfish – garnished with vegetables and fresh herbs such as basil or parsley.
A FEW NOTES ON XAREL.LO AND PENEDÈS
Xarel·lo is native to Penedès and one of its flagship grapes. Depending on where it is grown, the variety expresses itself differently. The grapes for Vinyarets come from different parts of the Penedès region where the soils are predominantly calcareous clay.

Generally speaking, Xarel·lo is timid on the nose, revealing subtle notes of white fruit, along with aniseed and characteristic herbaceous notes of Mediterranean scrubland. On the palate, the wines are fresh and display exceptional acidity.
The Vinyarets range brings the Penedès region to the world through honest, varietally true wines. Every bottle is an ambassador of the land we call home. What defines us – yesterday, today, and tomorrow – fits into a glass. A glass of Xarel·lo, that is.
