Vigno Carignan

The soils are of granitic origin, transitioning from gravel to red clay. The climate is warm Mediterranean with well-defined seasons. The soil texture is sandy loam in the upper layers and clayey from approximately 70 cm to 180 cm. The soils are deep and well-drained. The topography is undulating, resulting in significant erosion and varied exposures.
