CHRISTMAS DECORATIONS INSPIRED BY FAMILIA TORRES WINES (II)

As you know, wine is often the object or subject of inspiration in countless creative fields. The world of decoration is no exception. So we teamed up with@goutdhestia, to bring you some original ideas for decorating your holiday tables based on different Familia Torres wines.
@goutdhestia invites us to style our table as inspired by the wine:
MAS LA PLANA (DO PENEDÈS)

“I love rustic country-style tables. They inspire cosiness and have that homey Christmas feel,” declares@goutdhestia, a statement that finds expression in a warm vision of home:
“I picture a fireplace and low lighting, which is why I always add candles. Having a centrepiece made from foraged greenery underscores this idea and lets me achieve this sensation of Christmas in the countryside. I always imagine my family around a table like this, with my nephews and nieces running about, laughing and raising a cheerful ruckus.”

The styling sports a tablecloth in soft terracotta earth tones, a reference to the soil of the vineyards. An idea that finds conceptual continuity in the simple, rustic tableware in natural hues. “The golden cutlery adds a touch of classic elegance, much like the wine itself. We'll decorate the table in different shades of green (cherry, pine, and eucalyptus leaves), red forest fruit and berries that can easily be found in the woods.”

PERPETUAL (DOQ PRIORAT)

For@goutdhestia, elegance is all about finding the right balance between innovative and classic décor. “This is a fun table with bright vivid colours. I combined a green tablecloth with purple napkins and spectacular modern tableware that also has a vintage touch. The floral arrangements had to be just as colourful while maintaining the overall elegance of the table.” A spectacular composition that lives up to the wine.

“In choosing the deep green of the tablecloth, I drew on the colours of Mediterranean oak groves. The black detailing of the plates and silverware adds sophistication and references the Cariñena grapes and the colour of the balsamic echoes present in the aromatic notes of the wine.”

We've seen how the material interpretation of wine can be a source of inspiration, transforming a Christmas table into a concept, an idea that welcomes and brings us together and makes us feel at home.
