Viña Esmeralda Rosé – a new 'Mediterranean Classic'

A new 'Mediterranean Classic' wine has arrived, Viña Esmeralda Rosé. Pale pink in colour with glints of orange, this new rosé from Bodegas Torres epitomises Esmeralda’s attributes of femininity and elegance. Its name evokes the colour of the sea. This is a wine to add a touch of sophistication and sensuality or to bring a touch of glamour to any social event. It is a fresh, light wine with an aromatic intensity that comes from the Mediterranean grape variety Garnacha.

Uncork a bottle of Viña Esmeralda Rosé and breathe the Mediterranean breeze, picking up the aroma of rose bushes that grow at the foot of the vineyard. Enjoy a floral and fruity aroma, so delicate and scented, with red and citrus fruits and undertones of white peach. The wine is aged on the lees for four months, to give it roundness and volume in the mouth. This is a romantic wine to enjoy at sunset, with appetizers on a terrace or at a romantic dinner at a restaurant with panoramic views. It should be served very fresh and goes particularly well with a caprese salad, smoked fish, meat carpaccio, Asian dishes or goat cheese.

The stylish shield-shaped label of Viña Esmeralda is a pale pink colour, to mirror the unique, teardrop shape of the bottle, conveying its freshness and delicacy. This beautiful bottle also respects the environment since it is lighter in weight than standard bottles. This means that its transportation produces less CO2 emissions, responsible for climate change, one of Torres’ biggest concerns.

Viña Esmeralda Rosé is released under the DO Catalunya, with a limited production and with a special focus for the Spanish and international restaurants sector.
