Grans Muralles and Mas La Plana, two of the most emblematic wines from Bodegas Torres, will accompany the Roca brothers on their American tour. The chefs behind the famous restaurant, El Celler de Can Roca, have chosen old vintages of these two incredible wines to match the new gastronomic delights they will create for those attending the tour sponsored by BBVA. They will also serve, at some of the events, the Dobles Lías Chardonnay, a wine produced by Marimar Torres, 4th generation of the family, at the winery in California. The tour involves lunch and dinner events for 50 guests, during which the Roca brothers will create their Restaurant in situ at each destination, from Houston to Dallas, Monterrey, DF and Bogota, concluding in Lima at the doors of the Mistura food fair.
These are the wines from the Torres family that will accompany the Roca brothers on their tour during August and part of September, in a project called “Haute-cuisine with values”, that will allow Joan, Josep and Jordi to discover new local products and cuisines, attract new talent and introduce their award-winning gastronomy to the people of America, Mexico, Colombia and Peru.
