
Torres cultivates, in its vineyards of Catalonia, Chile and California, more than 20 different varieties of grapes. We have from the most recognised and well-known red varieties such as Carbernet Sauvignon or Pinot Noir to traditional white varieties such as Parellada or the exquisite Chardonnay.Let us not forget that Torres has recovered Catalan varieties such as the very personal Samsó and Garró.
Thus it is that with careful winemaking with all of these varieties Torres can offer you a great range of products, from the most sensual wines to the most generous brandies.
Cabernet Franc
This variety is cultivated, on a small scale, in our Middle Penedès vineyards.
Cabernet Sauvignon
This is the emperor of the red varieties, originally from Bordeaux, it is cultivated in our Upper and Central Penedès vineyards as well as in Conca de Barberà and in the heart of the Chilean Central Valley.
Cariñena
A classic and traditional Mediterranean variety.
Chardonnay
This grape is the queen of our Milmanda Estate in Conca de Barberà, we also grow it in our vineyards of Upper and Middle Penedès.
Folle Blanche
A minor grape variety sometimes used in wines that are later distilled in Cognac, France.
Garnacha Blanca
An abundant variety in the northeast of the Iberian Peninsula.
Garnacha Tinta
This variety is the most cultivated Mediterranean grape worldwide.
Garró
This is one of the traditional Catalan grape varieties that have been recovered from near extinction.
Gewürztraminer
It is cultivated in our Mas Jané, Fransola and Montagut (Penedès Superior).
Macabeu
This variety is found mainly in the Central Penedès and is the grape which contributes a fruity aroma and rich sap to brandy.
