Torres commitment to culture in Tenerife began on 11 November 1998 with the opening of the Taller Torres in Santa Cruz. Today, the promotion of wine-related knowledge continues to be one of the most attractive activities on the island. Both inside and outside of our facilities, we hold weekly tastings, guided wine tastings and courses relating to viticulture and oenology.
The centre currently offers the following courses: Introduction to the Wine World, Introduction to Wine Tasting, Wine and Gastronomy, in addition to special monographic courses such as Coffee, Sweet Wines and Spirits, Iberian Ham Cutting and Wine Tasting, Japanese Cuisine and Wines, Cheese Making and Tasting, and more. Given by qualified staff, these courses come with educational material, pamphlets and books and target both professionals and anyone who is simply interested in the wine world.
