History and Location

An exclusive spot where Torres wine and Manel Jiménez' cuisine come together with the light and the Mediterranean. Situated in the centre of Barcelona, it's a joint project with Grupo SAGARDI which has resulted in a one-of-a-kind culinary and oenology offering.

Mr Jaime Torres, the son of Penedès vine growers, travelled to Cuba in 1885, where he worked at a well-known grocer's. His brother Miguel would send him wines and typical Catalan products from the Port of Barcelona which he would offer recently-arrived immigrants at a long table.

The two brothers founded Bodegas Torres in 1870. Nowadays, that long table where a passion for wine, family, friends and the recently-arrived was shared has been recovered in Barcelona. It has all come full circle. In Paseo de Gracia. At Vinoteca Torres.

Enjoy an excellent gastronomic offering at the Torres wine bars in Shanghai which combines the best of this Asian country and the essence of the Mediterranean with the most exclusive Torres wines.

La Vinoteca Torres opened its doors in October 2008, followed by the Torres on the Bund wine bar in October 2012. The two Torres wine bars in Shanghai are known to be exclusive spots where you can enjoy the best Torres wine along with the excellent gastronomic proposals created by chef Willy Trullas Moreno.

Whereas the offering at Vinoteca Torres Centro takes you to Spain and its neighbouring countries through the great variety of Mediterranean flavours, the Vinoteca Torres on The Bund offers something more ingenious and fun with modern Barcelona-style tapas and rice dishes yet following the Yin Yang structure of Chinese cuisine.
